STORYLINE
Bloomsburg University men's soccer team travels to face off against West Chester on Saturday at noon. Bloomsburg will look to stretch its PSAC record to 2-1-0 and extend their winning streak to three on the season.

LAST TIME OUT
(Box Score) On Wednesday the Huskies shut out the Griffins of Chestnut Hill, 2-0. The first goal came nine minutes into the first half when senior Fran Miller (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) crossed the ball and Derrick Orendorff (Elizabethtown/Elizabethtown Area) ran in and connected the ball to net. Miller also notched a goal of his own on a rebound shot before the first half was over, putting Bloomsburg up 2-0. The Huskies held a 14-13 and were able to make the early goals stick. In goal, Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) made eight saves, seven of which came during the second half.    

SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
The West Chester men's soccer team is 2-2-1 overall, 2-1-0 in the PSAC. Like Bloomsburg, the Rams are on a two-game winning streak. West Chester defeated fellow conference teams Gannon and Lock Haven in its last two matches. The Golden Rams nearly produced two shutouts defeating Gannon 3-0 on Sept. 14 followed by a 3-1 victory against Lock Haven on Wednesday. The majority of offensive contribution has come from senior forward Conor Malarney, who leads the team with five goals and 10 points. Freshman Miguel Ross ranks second on the team with one goal and one assist.

The all-time series is tied, 14-14-3.

The Huskies rank third in the PSAC for shots attempted with 79.Goalie Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) earned his third shutout on the season against Chestnut Hill and is now second in Bloomsburg history in shutouts with 12.
 
LAST MEETING
(Box Score) During the last matchup on Oct. 20, 2012, Huskies fell to West Chester 3-1. Fran Miller (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) registered the only goal scored by Bloomsburg. Despite five saves by goaltender Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone), team was unable to defensively hold Ram players Kevin McCann and Conor Malarney. McCann netted two goals, while Malarney scored the other.
