Men's Soccer Teams Plays to Tie With West Chester

WEST CHESTER—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team played to a 0-0, 2 OT tie on Saturday with West Chester in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) matchup.
 
The Huskies, now 3-2-1 and 1-1-1 PSAC, took 14 shots in the game, while the Golden Rams had 25.  Bloomsburg held a 9-5 advantage in corner kicks.
 
In goal Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) made nine saves to notch his fourth shutout, and third straight, of the young season. Overall, Roell has not been scored upon in the last 300:43 minutes of play.
 
Fran Miller (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) led the Huskies offense with three shots in the game.  Nate Conrad (Enola/East Pennsboro), Mike Del Sordi, and Chris Pawlowski (Philadelphia/LaSalle) had two shots a piece. 
 
The Huskies travel to Queens College in New York on Wednesday, Sept. 25 for their next contest at 4 p.m.
