QUEENS, NY—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 road loss to Queens College Wednesday at Knights Field.

The Clippers were on the board first scoring 10 minutes into the game to gain a 1-0 lead and snap the Huskies 310 minute shutout streak. Bloomsburg's best chance to score came in the 85th minute when Nate Conrad (Enola/East Pennsboro) out jumped Queens' goalie, Sean Geoghegan and put his head on a ball that appeared to be on it way to the net.  However a Queens player was able to clear the ball and preserve the 1-0 lead.

Queens outshot Bloomsburg 17-6.  The Huskies held a 2-1 advantage in corner kicks.

In goal Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) made seven saves for Bloomsburg.

The Huskies move to 3-3-1 and host Concordia Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Sports Stadium.
