STORYLINE
The Huskies return home on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in a non-conference matchup. Bloomsburg is 1-1 at home this year after defeating Mercyhurst, 2-1, on Sept. 7 and battling nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg to the wire in a 2-1 overtime defeat on Sept. 18.

LAST TIME OUT
(Box Score) The Huskies rallied in the second half at Edinboro on Tuesday, but a 3-0 halftime deficit proved too much to overcome in a 4-2 setback in the western part of the state. Bloomsburg broke through in the 60th minute when Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) scored and tallied another goal 11 minutes later when Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland) struck to draw the Huskies to within a score. A fourth Edinboro goal in the 77th minute secured the win for the hosts.

SCOUTING DAVIS & ELKINS
The Senators are 1-5 on the season entering Thursday's match at Bloomsburg. They have been idle since dropping a 1-0 decision to Slippery Rock at home last Saturday. Offense has been hard to come by as D&E has scored just four goals in six matches – three of which came in their only victory so far vs. Ohio Valley on Sept. 19. A newcomer to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference this year, the Senators were picked to finish second in the GMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing 11-4-2 in 2012 while playing as part of the WVIAC. Alison Bogar leads D&E with two goals while goalkeeper Ashley Winkelspecht has posted a 1.80 GAA with 28 saves in five matches.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads, 2-0-0.

LAST MEETING
(Box Score) The last time the two schools met was in the 2011 Huskies season-opener on Sept. 1, 2011. On that day, Bloomsburg scored a 4-0 victory over the Senators. Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland) scored two goals and assisted another while Kyleigh Reckage (Manasquan, NJ/Wall) and Jamie Vaniver (Holland/Council Rock South) each had an assist as well.
