WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Once again the Bloomsburg University women's basketball team proved it's not how one starts but how they finish, erasing a double-digit second half deficit for the second time in a week to score an 88-80 comeback win at West Chester on Saturday afternoon.

Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) set career highs for points with a game-high 27 as well as 3-pointers made with seven field goals from beyond the arc while reaching yet another personal best with six assists. The 1,000-point scorer tallied 19 points and five 3's during the second half rally.

Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) added 17 points, 14 of which came in the second half, and six rebounds while
Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) posted her second career double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Huskies improved to 13-3 overall on the season with their sixth straight victory and now stand 4-2 in the PSAC East. West Chester, which entered the day holding down the top spot in the divisional standings, moves to 11-6, 6-1.

West Chester held control of the game during the second half, seizing double digit leads multiple times and pulled ahead 63-53 with 9:28 to play.

Following a pair of free throws from West Chester's Keisha Steele-Hook for the 10-point advantage, the Huskies took over with a 16-5 burst ignited by a pair of Noack 3-pointers sandwiching free throws from Sadowski, but Sadowski was whistled for her fourth foul and forced to sit with 8:30 remaining and the Huskies trailing, 65-61.

Foul trouble failed to slow the Huskies, however, as they stormed all the way back on two more long range shots – first a trey by
Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) to pull within two and then Noack gave BU its first lead since the 6:41 mark of the first half with her 200th career 3-pointer for a 69-68 lead and 6:49 to play.

West Chester momentarily took the lead back on a jumper from Brittany Sicinski, but Ford delivered a lay-in on the other end to take a lead Bloomsburg wouldn't relinquish. Another 3-pointer from Noack, her seventh of the day, put the Huskies up 74-70.

A four-point play from Dallas Ely brought WCU back within two at 76-74, but Ford answered with a jumper and then a Golden Rams turnover allowed Klunk to score for an 80-74 edge and the hosts never pulled closer than four the rest of the way. Ford and Noack put the game on ice in the final minute, each connecting on a pair of free throws.

The first 30 minutes were primarily in the control of West Chester. Ford gave the Huskies the early lead with a 3-pointer before the game was seven seconds old, but the Golden Rams responded with a 9-0 run. Bloomsburg rattled off eight of the game's next 10 points to tie the score at 11 following a jumper from Klunk, and finally took the lead back on a 3-pointer from Noack (21-18) at the 10:21 mark.

An 8-0 run helped the Golden Rams take control late in the first half, moving ahead 32-25 following a steal and lay-in by Anna Kuntz and they ultimately grabbed a nine-point advantage at 36-27 with 1:17 remaining on the half. Bloomsburg scored the final four points of the period to close to within 36-31 at intermission.

Second chance points allowed West Chester to seize control, continuing a theme for the Golden Rams, which entered the game leading the PSAC in offensive rebounds at over 18 per game. West Chester used a 15-6 advantage in second chance points during the first half to maintain its five-point lead at halftime.

Sadowski put in a layup to cut the Golden Rams lead to three at 36-31 out of the locker room to start the second half, but WCU ran off the next eight points to stretch its lead to double digits for the first time at 44-33.

The Golden Rams were able to answer momentary Bloomsburg bursts, pulling its lead to double digits again at 63-53 before the Huskies roared back.

Klunk made her return to the lineup after missing two games due to injury by chipping in 11 points and four rebounds.

After being out-rebounded by a 25-19 margin in the first half, Bloomsburg turned the tables and finished with a 44-39 edge on the glass and did not allow West Chester any second chance points following halftime.

Sicinski powered the Golden Rams offense with 21 points and Dallas Ely poured in 16 points.

Bloomsburg returns home on Wednesday night to host Mansfield in a PSAC East contest at Nelson Field House beginning at 5:30 p.m.
