EAST STROUDSBURG—The Bloomsburg University field hockey team dropped a 2-1, overtime to No. 7 East Stroudsburg on Saturday.
 
The Huskies took the early lead in the game scoring in the 27th minute when Stephanie Halsted (Fairfax Station, VA/South County) hit the back of the cage with an assist from Candice Smith (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove). The goal was the second of the season for Halsted and the third assist for Smith.
 
East Stroudsburg tied the score with less than 10 minutes to play when Katie Barbato got a goal with an assist to Ally Roth.
 
In the overtime the Warriors had six penalty corners and four shots with Roth getting the game winner in the 76th minute.
 
Bloomsburg drops to 3-6, 2-5 in the PSAC, while East Stroudsburg goes to 5-5, 4-3 in the PSAC. The Huskies play at Kutztown on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
