BOX SCORE (HTML)KUTZTOWN—The Bloomsburg University field hockey team lost to Kutztown University, 2-0, on Tuesday night in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) matchup.

The game was scoreless till the Golden Bears got on the board at the 21:11 mark when Morgan Aldinger scored unassisted after starting a penalty corner. Kutztown added to its lead with a goal at 24:46 when Megan Tiwold scored on Aldinger's assist.

Bloomsburg had a total of 10 first half shots, while getting five penalty corners. The Huskies had three shots and two penalty corners in the final minute of the opening half, but Kutztown goalie Kayla Deniger made two saves to keep Bloomsburg off the board.

In the second half of play the Huskies had seven shots with Deniger making six saves to preserve the shutout.

Bloomsburg goes to 3-7, 2-6 in the PSAC, while Kutztown improves to 6-5, 4-3 in the PSAC. The Huskies host Bellarmine on Saturday at 11 a.m.
