ERIE – The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule on Saturday afternoon, dropping an 8-1 final to Mercyhurst at the Pennbriar Athletic Club.
 
Bloomsburg (1-2) received its lone win at #1 singles behind Maddie Graziani (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) who defeated Courtney Thompson by a 6-3, 6-0 decision. Graziani has won five straight singles matches dating to the fall. 
 
The Huskies will look to bounce back quickly, remaining in the Erie area to take on Edinboro on Sunday afternoon.
