STORYLINE
Bloomsburg travels to Salem, VA to compete in the West Virginia Wesleyan Tournament. Bloomsburg looks to continue their winning streak after being off since March 1st due to the weather.

LAST TIME OUT
On March 1, Bloomsburg defeated Shepherd in a doubleheader. In the first game, Bloomsburg won, 9-5. Bloomsburg scored six of their runs during the second inning with Lea Rhem getting a single to bring in
Kayla McHale (Dillsburg/Northern) to start of the scoring.Â
Holly Peacock (Williamsport/Jersey Shore) then brought in
Chrissy Belko (Old Forge/Old Forge). Rehm then scored off of an error.
Erika Yanora (Tunkhannock/Tunkhannock) hit a double to bring in two more runs and then
Rachel Fredell (Dingmans Ferry/Delaware Valley) hit a single to bring in the sixth run. The other three runs were scored during the fourth, fifth, and seventh inning.
Mandi Black (Huntington Mills/Northwest Area) ) and
Sarah Bertoni (Nanticoke/Greater Nanticoke Area) combined for eight strikeouts, five for Black and three for Bertoni. In the second game, Bloomsburg defeated Shepherd again, 5-3.
Taylor Parker (Dewart/Warrior Run) threw a shutout and had an important single in the second inning. Belko then hit a double, and
Caitlin O'Connor (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls) hit a three run homerun. In the fourth inning O'Connor brought home Belko and
Hannah Moir (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape ) hit a double to bring home O'Connor.

Charleston currently has a winning record of 10-3. Katelyn Hamilton leads the Golden Eagles with a .538 batting average followed by Andrea Hayes with a .424 batting average. Courtney Fain leads Charleston in pitching with 45 strikeouts on the season.
