EDINBORO, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's basketball team will head west to play in the PSAC Championship Weekend, facing No. 3 Gannon on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals. The Huskies will try to avenge a 65-63 loss on Dec. 21 to Gannon. Saturday's game will be a re-match of last year's PSAC Championship Game won by Bloomsburg. The winner of the semifinal moves on to play in the championship game on Sunday afternoon, televised live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN).

-The Huskies are making their fourth straight championship weekend appearance and fifth consecutive playoff entry overall.

-Bloomsburg is seeking the first-back-to-back PSAC championships in school history.

-Bloomsburg has reached the PSAC Championship Game back-to-back years. Prior to 2012, the Huskies had not reached the conference title game since 1992.

-Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) and Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) are both averaging 14.6 ppg during the 17-game winning streak, tied for the team lead in scoring during that span.

-The starting five of Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic), Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty), Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing), Marla Simmons (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) and Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) is 18-1 on the year with its only loss coming to Gannon, 65-63.

-BU has made more 3-pointers than its opponent in 20 games this year, going 18-2 in those contests.

-When leading at halftime this year the Huskies are 19-0.

-Bloomsburg was the only PSAC East team to finish crossover play with a winning record vs. the West, winning five of six games this year.

-Saturday's semifinal features the top two 3-point shooters in the nation - Noack (49.4%) and Gannon's Brittany Batts (47.5%).
