Women's Tennis Downs East Stroudsburg

BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis won its second straight match with an 8-1 victory over East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday.
 
The Huskies led 3-0 after doubles play with Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and Nicole Slagle (Irwin/Penn Trafford) winning 8-1 at No. 3, while Maddie Graziani (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) and Caitlin Flynn (Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) (No. 1) and Aida Diop (Allentown/Emmaus) and Natalie Greenholt (Hanover/South Western) (No. 2) posted wins by identical 8-3 scores.
 
In singles action the Huskies dominated the Warriors winning five of the six matches. Graziani posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1, while Diop rolled to a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 2, which clinched the Huskies victory.  At No. 4 singles Reitenauer won in three sets, 6-3, 6-7, 10-2 with Flynn and Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) also winning in straight sets.
 
Bloomsburg, 4-4, 2-0 in the PSAC East, will host Millersville University on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. on the Upper Campus Courts.
