BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team defeated Millersville, 7-2, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup Thursday.
The Huskies (5-4 overall, 3-0 PSAC) swept the Marauders (2-10, 0-1) in doubles winning out all three matches. At No. 1
Maddie Graziani (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) and
Caitlin Flynn (Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) won 8-3.
Aida Diop (Allentown/Emmaus) and
Natalie Greenholt (Hanover/South Western) won, 8-2, at second doubles, while
Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and
Nicole Slagle (Irwin/Penn Trafford) finished, 8-3, at No. 3.
At first singles Graziani blanked her opponent, 6-0, 6-0. No. 2 Diop won 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, while Flynn tallied scores of 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3. Reitenauer prevailed in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.
Bloomsburg travels to Shippensburg Saturday, April 5 for a PSAC match against the Raiders at 9 a.m. and one against Cheyney at 1 p.m.
