OLD WESTBURY, NY—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer lost to New York Institute of Technology 3-0 on Saturday in a non-conference matchup.

The Huskies trailed just 1-0 at the break after Alberto Ruiz scored in the 11th minutes with a shot to the nearside of the net. The home team Bears extended their advantage to 2-0 with a goal on a penalty kick in the 47th minute, then made it 3-0 with a 56th minute goal.
 
For the game NYIT held a 14-9 edge in shots, while the Huskies had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
 
Bloomsburg, 0-1-1, will be at Chestnut Hill on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. start.
