STORYLINE
Bloomsburg returns home looking to extend a two-game winning streak after defeating a pair of regionally ranked teams last week, Gannon and Mercyhurst. Both of last week's wins were 1-0 finals with a pair of clean sheets for the Huskies.

LAST TIME OUT
(Box Score) Chrissy Hollan (Laurys Station/Parkland) scored the deciding tally on a penalty kick in the 76th minute of a 1-0 win at Mercyhurst on Saturday. Hollan had four shots on goal in the contest. Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) posted her second straight shutout with seven saves in net.

HUSKIES RUN WITH BIG DOGS
Bloomsburg beat two of the region's top teams, at least according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings, last week. Gannon entered last week ranked second in the Atlantic Region and No. 17 in the national Top 25 before the Huskies defeated the Golden Knights, 1-0, last Wednesday. It marked the first win for BU over a nationally ranked opponent since November 2010. Mercyhurst, meanwhile, was listed fifth in the last Atlantic Region poll released last week.

TURNING THE TIDE
The first two weeks have brought a sway of momentum for the Huskies. In the opening week of the year, Bloomsburg suffered a pair of 1-0 heartbreakers to Clarion and IUP. Last week, the pendulum swung back in the direction of the Huskies as they played two more 1-0 matches, this time coming on top in both.

DEFENSE SHINES
Through four matches, Bloomsburg has allowed only two goals. Among PSAC teams, only IUP, West Chester and East Stroudsburg have allowed fewer, with those three squads allowing one goal apiece, although ESU has played only three matches.

NOT BAD FOR A DEBUT
Freshman Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) has made a splash in her first week as the starting goalkeeper, posting a 2-1 record with a 0.33 goals against average through three starts. The West Islip, NY native has made 20 saves while surrendering just one goal.

ABOUT CHESTNUT HILL
The Griffins are led by head coach Sandy Dickson, in her third season at Chestnut Hill after formerly serving in the same role at Bloomsburg University. Dickson led the Huskies to a 139-89-27 record from 1998-2010 in 13 seasons as head coach. Dickson is the Huskies' all-time leader in coaching victories while former head coach and current volunteer assistant Chuck Laudermilch ranks second with 104 wins.

Chestnut Hill boasts a veteran roster with six juniors and 11 seniors after finishing 2013 at 5-11-1 overall and a 5-6-1 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). The Griffins are searching for their first win of 2014 and their first goal after suffering losses to Adelphi (4-0), Georgian Court (2-0) and Post (6-0).

LAST MEETING
(Box Score) The Huskies were victorious, 2-1, in double overtime at Chestnut Hill on Sept. 10, 2013. It was a career day for Julia Rios (Millersville/Penn Manor) as she tallied both goals for the Huskies – tying the score at 1-1 in the 60th minute off a corner kick for her first score and then ending the match with another goal in the 108th minute.
