STORYLINE
The Huskies look to knock off No. 3 West Chester for a PSAC win at home on Saturday September 19 at noon. West Chester is the third straight nationally ranked opponent for the Huskies. Bloomsburg defeated No. 9 IUP, 4-1, last Saturday before falling to top-ranked Millersville, 1-0, in overtime by penalty stroke on Wednesday.

LAST MEETING
Last season the Huskies fell to the visiting Golden Rams, 2-0, with Megan Callanan scoring both goals. The Huskies managed five shots on goal in the second period, but were unable to score against the WCU goalie, Audree Bonavita.
 
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER
The Golden Rams are coming off of an on the road victory against Mansfield, 6-1, on Sept. 17. Alexis Versak recorded a hat trick throughout the game while Marnie Kusakavitch recorded two goals, one in each period. Rachal Toppi provided the final goal for the Golden Rams. WCU goalie Sarah Krause recorded five saves, totaling seven for the season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies fell to the visiting Millersville Marauders, the top-ranked team in the nation in OT, 1-0, by penalty stroke 1:46 into the extra period. The Huskies recorded four shots and seven penalty corners  Lindsay Cassel (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) made five saves for Bloomsburg in the cage.
 
NEXT GAME
Bloomsburg continues its four-game home stand by facing Shippensburg, another nationally ranked foe, on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m.
