Box Score BOX SCORE (HTML)BLOOMSBURG—On a gorgeous day for a match the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team battled for 110 minutes with Seton Hill University playing to a 0-0, two overtime draw.

The Huskies had come into the game winners of three straight games, but could not find the back of the net in a battle with the Griffins.

Bloomsburg did have a couple of scoring opportunities in the first half, but each time was either denied by Seton Hill goalie Carolin Edenhoffer or misfired on its shot attempt. Early in the game the Huskies had a free kick from outside of 25 yards out by
Chrissy Hollan (Laurys Station/Parkland) that Edenhoffer lept up and saved. Then later in the half Hollan had a free kick, but her shot went wide left.

Not to be outdone in the net was Bloomsburg's freshman goalie sensation
Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) who continued her solid play. She made two first period saves, including one on a breakaway with six minutes left in the half.

In the second half both teams had several shots on goal, but each time the goalies made saves keeping it a scoreless affair. Bloomsburg's best chance was in the 84th minute when
Michelle Kinka (West Chester/Villa Maria Academy) had a breakaway broken up by Seton Hill.

In the extra periods the Griffins got off three shots (two were on goal) to none for Bloomsburg with Deak making one save.

For the game Deak finished with five saves and Edenhoffer eight for the visitors.

With the tie Seton Hill goes to 2-3-1, 2-1-1 in the PSAC, while the Huskies go to 3-2-1, 2-2-1 in the PSAC.

Bloomsburg is back in action on Saturday at 3 p.m. hosting Pitt-Johnstown.
