Last Game
The Huskies dropped a 3-0 decision to #7 West Chester on Saturday. Bloomsburg had seven shots and three corner kicks in the game. Goalie Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) had two saves in the game.

Stat Leaders
Brooke Mohney (Bigler/Clearfield) and Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) lead the Huskies in scoring this season with four points each. Mohney has two goals, while Sanchez has a goal and two assists. As a team the Huskies have scored nine goals and allowed just eight. In goal is Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) who has a goals against average of 0.84 with four goals allowed in 746 minutes of action. Deak also has four shutouts on the season.

Regional Ranking
The Huskies cracked the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) Atlantic Region rankings last week taking the No. 10 spot.

Tough Schedule
Bloomsburg has faced three nationally-ranked teams so far this season going 1-2 in those games. The Huskies beat #17 Gannon; lost in 2 OT to #25 East Stroudsburg before its loss to #7 West Chester.

Next Game
The Huskies are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. hosting Edinboro.

Scouting Kutztown
Kutztown beat 16th-ranked California (PA) 2-0 on Saturday. In the early minutes of the game, Diana Malanga found a ball in the box that squeezed through two Vulcan defenders in the sixth minute.  KU made it 2-0 when Sam Costello ripped a ball into the back of the net from 22 yards out in the 12th minute. Goalie Deanna Messner made five saves to earn the shutout.

On the season Mariah Dimm leads the Golden Bears in scoring with seven points coming on three goals and one assist. Alaina Curry is second with four points on two goals. As a team Kutztown has scored 10 goals this season. In goal Messner has a 0.85 goals against average with six goals allowed and 24 saves made.

Last Meeting
Kutztown beat Bloomsburg 2-0 a year ago. The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first 45 minutes. Kutztown broke through in the 58th minute when Sam Costello took an assist from Katie Oliveri and found the net for the first score of the match. The hosts found some insurance in the 70th minute when Megan Frailer's rebound off a Costello shot made the score 2-0. Rakiewicz earned the victory in goal making three saves for the Golden Bears.
