SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
The Marauders opened the season at 10-4, but have lost four straight games – all by single digits to Pitt-Johnstown (74-72), Cheyney (70-63), Lock Haven (49-46) and Shippensburg (67-55). The UPJ loss which started the Marauders slide was bigger than just a two-point defeat as Millersville also lost fifth-year senior Carly Gallagher for the season due to injury during the second half of that game. The leading scorer on the team, Gallagher was averaging 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game and had scored in double figures in 14 of 15 games before going down with injury.

Without Gallagher, Millersville has averaged 54.7 points per game after winning seven of eight games prior to Gallagher's injury.

Millersville still has the ability to stay in games thanks to a defense that has allowed 70 points or less 13 times on the year. The Marauders rank 14th in the PSAC in offense at 62.4 points per game for the year, and are third in the conference in defense while surrendering an average of 60.0 points. Millersville also rebounds well – the Marauders record 42.8 rebounds per game, third-most in the PSAC, including an average of 14.6 offensive boards per game.

The Marauders are led by head coach Mary Fleig, who has guided Millersville to 18 consecutive appearances in the PSAC Tournament.

LAST MEETING / SERIES HISTORY
Millersville leads 40-37

Both teams have seen times of prosperity during the long-running series, but the Marauders have won three of the past four meetings. All four of those games were decided by seven points or fewer, however, including the last meeting when Bloomsburg snapped a three-game skid vs. the Marauders with a 79-77 triumph on Jan. 29, 2014 at Pucillo Gymnasium in Millersville.

On that night, Millersville led by seven (66-59) with 7:28 to play, and was clinging to a 77-74 advantage with 46 seconds to go following free throws from Celeste Robinson. Bloomsburg's Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) was fouled and made two shots at the line to cut the deficit to 77-76 and a missed layup gave the Huskies one last chance. Following a timeout with six seconds to go, Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) found Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) open on the wing for the game-winning 3-pointer. Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) had her finest statistical game as a Husky, registering a career high 21 points while Sadowski finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. Yasmin Cooper and Carly Gallagher paced Millersville with 16 points apiece.
