Austin Transue (Langhorne/Neshaminy) scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Bloomsburg University men's soccer team to a 3-1 win over Holy Family University on Wednesday. The win was the 10
th on the year for the Huskies giving them double digit wins in back-to-back years for the first time since 2002 and 2003.

The Huskies took a 1-0 lead when Transue fed
Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) who drilled the ball into the net in 23
rd minute.

Transue scored his seventh goal of the year in the 25
th minute of play when he headed a shot that was initially slowed by the Tigers goalie, but who then saw the ball slip through his hands and across the goal line.

Holy Family cut the lead to 2-1 when Kevin McCollick scored on an assist from Matthew Tracey in the 52
nd minute.

Bloomsburg gave itself a cushion when Transue collected a loose ball in the box and banged it in for a 3-1 lead with 35 minutes to play. From there the Huskies defense allowed just three more shots on goal to earn the victory.

Jacob Pescarik got a win in his first collegiate start in goal stopping three shots.

Bloomsburg is now 10-3, while Holy Family is 2-11-1. The Huskies host Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday at 5 p.m.
