Men's Soccer Falls to East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to East Stroudsburg, 3-1, on Wednesday night in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) game.
 
The Huskies, ranked fifth in the first NCAA Atlantic Region rankings, fell behind 1-0 when the Warriors Austin Bogart scored in the 19th minute of action.
 
Bloomsburg came back and tied the game at 1-1 in the second minute of the second half. Kenny Herrmann (Langhorne/Neshaminy) fed Austin Transue (Langhorne/Neshaminy), who now has 10 goals on the season.
 
The Warriors regained the lead in the 59th minute and got an insurance goal three minutes later to post the 3-1 victory.
 
For the game East Stroudsburg held a 15-12 edge in shots, while the Huskies had a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.
 
Bloomsburg is now 11-4, 6-3 in the PSAC, while East Stroudsburg is 7-7-1, 4-5-1 in the PSAC. The Huskies host West Chester on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
