Â
While the offense gave the Huskies the lead it was Parker and Bortner in control in the circle. Parker started and went five innings allowing just two hits and fanning five. Bortner went the final two innings allowing just one walk, no hits and striking out two.
Â
In game two Bertoni was in command throughout the game going the distance giving up just one unearned run and fanning three.
