BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team advanced to the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) semi-finals with a 5-0 win over Millersville University on Tuesday afternoon at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.

With the win the Huskies will move on to the semi-finals Friday where it will face California (PA) starting at noon.

The Huskies swept through doubles play to go up 3-0. At No. 1 doubles
Aida Diop (Allentown/Emmaus) and
Caitlin Flynn (Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) won 9-8, winning 9-7 in the tie-breaker. Bloomsburg's No. 2 team of
Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and
Cat Garrity (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) and No. 3 team of
Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) and
Iliana Anapolsky (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) both won by scores of 8-2 to put the Huskies in control.

In singles action Garrity picked up the Huskies fourth win of the match with a 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, while Tennis closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-1 victory coming at No. 4. Bloomsburg was also winning at No. 2 with Reitenauer and No. 3 Flynn both up a set when play was stopped.

Bloomsburg goes to 7-7 on the year with the win.
