HTML BOX SCOREERIE—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team posted a 1-0 win over Gannon University on Friday in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) matchup.

The Huskies, ranked 18
th in the country in Division II, went back and forth with the Golden Knights in the opening 45 minutes. Each team recorded three shots and were even in corner kicks at two each and were tied at 0-0 on the scoreboard.

In the second half Bloomsburg started putting pressure on the Golden Knights getting three shots of in the first 15 minutes of the period. The Huskies finally broke through in the 63
rd minute off a corner play.
Brett Milden (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) served the ball into the middle where Sam Izzo delivered a shot past the Gannon keeper to make it 1-0.

In the final 28 minutes the Huskies defense allowed just two shots with one going high and the other wide.
For the game the Huskies held an 8-5 edge in shots, while Gannon had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

Bloomsburg goalie
Jared Ott (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan), seeing his first action on the year, made two saves in earning the victory.

The Huskies, 3-1, 1-1 in the PSAC, play at Mercyhurst at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
