STORYLINEThe Huskies got back on the winning track beating Mercyhurst 4-1 on Saturday to improve to 3-1 on the season. Seton Hill is still looking for its first win of the year after losing to Shippensburg, 6-1.
SERIES HISTORYBloomsburg leads the all-time series with the Griffins, 8-0. The Huskies have allowed just two goals to Seton Hill in the series history with six of the Bloomsburg wins coming by shutout.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies beat Mercyhurst 4-1 on Saturday with four different players each scoring one goal each.
Abby Sauder (Mt. Joy/Donegal),
Sam Peters (Yeagertown/Mifflin County),
Nikki Gattone (Reading/Muhlenberg) and
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) all scored for Bloomsburg. Lindsey Cassel made 12 saves on the day for the Huskies. On the year Peters leads the Huskies in goals with two and is tied for the team lead in points with four. Sauder is tied for the lead in points with one goal and two assists, while Kowski, Gattone,
Mackenzie Wirth (Thompsontown/Greenwood),
Peyton Shockley (Milford, DE/Milford) and
Eleanor Kirby (Garnet Valley/Garnet Valley) each have one goal. In the cage Cassel has a 1.00 goals against mark and .917 saves percentage with 44 saves.

SCOUTING SETON HILLSeton Hill is 0-3 on the year after a 6-1 loss at Shippensburg on Saturday. The Griffins got on the scoreboard first in the 19th minute of the contest when Emily Hutsko redirected a shot from Dominique Cappello into the back of the cage to give the Griffins a 1-0 lead at the 18:57 mark of the first half. The Raiders though scored the next six goals to post the easy win. Alexandra Piekarz recorded five saves in net and Jane Eberhart added two saves. Alisha Bell leads the team with two goals, while Hutsko has a goal and an assist on the year. In goal Piekarz has a 2.63 goals against average.
