MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) scored two goals and added an assist to lead the eighth-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team to a 6-0 win over Seton Hill University on Tuesday at Steph Pettit Stadium.

The Huskies wasted little time getting on the board scoring just 1:04 into the game when Mahan collected a drive from outside the circle that went off the goalie's pads, but wasn't cleared. Mahan then swooped in and drove home an easy shot to the right side of the cage for a 1-0 lead.

Bloomsburg made it 2-0- in the 18
th minute when MacKenzie Wirth made a great pass in front of the goal to
Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) who drilled home the shot for her first goal of the season.

Out of halftime the Huskies again wasted little time in scoring. Just 32 seconds into the period
MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) made a quick pass to
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) who was positioned near the corner of the cage. Kowski then beat the goalie for a 3-0 lead.

Bloomsburg made it 4-0 when
Sam Peters (Yeagertown/Mifflin County) banged home a shot that rebounded off the goalie's pads, then made it 5-0 when
Geneka Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) fed
MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) for a goal in the 54
th minute.

The Huskies final goal came when
Brionna Kline (Conestoga/Penn Manor) punched a loose ball on a scramble in front of the net.

For the game the Huskies held the edge in shots, 21-9, and penalty corners, 8-3.

Bloomsburg is now 4-1, while Seton Hills falls to 0-4. The Huskies host Shippensburg on Saturday at 11 a.m.
