HTML BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team won its third straight game with a 2-0 shutout of visiting Lock Haven on Tuesday afternoon at Steph Pettit Stadium.

The teams went back and forth in a physical first half of play with neither team scoring. Finally in the 43
rd minute of play the Huskies found the back of the net. On a corner kick from
Nick DiBiase (East Hanover, NJ/DePaul Catholic) the ball was deflected away before
Kenny Herrmann (Langhorne/Neshaminy) came in, and with a sliding kick, put it past the diving goalie, Troy Teresak, for the first goal of the game.

It stayed 1-0 until the 87
th minute. With the Lock Haven defense trying to push the ball back up field for the tying score,
Austin Transue (Langhorne/Neshaminy) intercepted the ball and dribbled towards the middle of the field. He then slid a pass to a cutting
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, NJ/Mount Olive) who drilled a shot to the left corner after the Teresak had come out to challenge on the play.

Jared Ott (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) posted the shutout for the Huskies stopping four shots. For the game the Huskies outshot the Bald Eagles, 16-10, and held the edge in corner kicks, 8-0.

Bloomsburg, 5-1, 3-1 in the PSAC, plays at Seton Hill on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
