Austin Transue (Langhorne/Neshaminy)'s goal in overtime propelled the Bloomsburg University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Seton Hill. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Huskies.

The teams traded shots during the first 20 minutes of play as Transue saw his attempt on goal saved by goalie Cameron Evans in the 14
th minute. Bloomsburg threatened late in the first half as
Brian Kilcoyne (Bensalem/Bensalem) put two shots on frame only to have them turned away by Evans. The teams would enter halftime deadlocked at 0-0.

The Huskies opened up the second half with three shots in the first four minutes including two by
Nick Izzo (Frankford, DE/Indian River), but were unable to find the back of the net.

Seton Hill would go on the offensive in the 50
th minute when Chris Gallagher's header went wide, followed by Colin Watson's shot that was saved by
Jared Ott (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan).

Stephen Pieri (Chalfont/Central Bucks South) would see his shot hit of the post in the 65
th minute, marking the best chance the Huskies would have in regulation. Bloomsburg would attempt a corner kick in the 90
th minute, but was unable to convert the chance into a goal.

In overtime, the Huskies put together a string of shots including off the post and crossbar. In the 100
th minute, Transue took a rebound off of the crossbar and put it away in the bottom left corner of the net to give Bloomsburg the win.

For the game, the Huskies outshot the Griffins 23-13, and tallied seven corner kicks.

Up next for 6-1 Bloomsburg is a matchup at Felician on Wednesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
