On Tuesday the Huskies won their second straight game blanking Seton Hill 6-0 to improve to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders are also 4-1 after a 5-0 win over Slippery Rock on Tuesday.

Both the Huskies and the Raiders are ranked nationally in the Penn Monto/NFHCA D-II poll. Bloomsburg is ranked eighth moving up one spot from the pre-season poll, while Shippensburg is second this week after starting the season at number four.

Erica Krebs (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) and
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) each scored once. Lindsey Cassel made six saves on the day for the Huskies. On the year Peters leads the Huskies in goals with three and points with six, while
MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) has two goals and one assist for five points with Kowski scoring two goals for four points. In the cage Cassel has a 0.80 goals against mark and .926 saves percentage with 50 saves.

SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg is 4-1 on the year after beating Slippery Rock 5-0 Tuesday. Emily Barnard scored twice, while Morgan Gantz, Ari Saytar and Brooke Zeiders were the other Raiders who found the back of the cage. In goal, Taylor Webster made six saves. On the year Barnard leads the Raiders in goals with six, assists with three and points with 15. Cassie Rawa is second in goals and assists with two each. In goal, Webster has a 0.95 goals against mark and a .861 saves percentage with 31 saves.

NCAA TOURNAMENT AT BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg will be the site of the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championships from Nov. 20-22.
