LAST MEETING W/VULCANSThe Bloomsburg University men's soccer team completed a perfect weekend of PSAC action by taking advantage of an own goal in the final seconds to defeat California (PA), 1-0. The final sequence began with
Nate Conrad (Enola/East Pennsboro) firing a shot on goal that was turned away by Vulcans keeper Shane Donovan with six seconds left to play. Donovan made a diving save, but the ball squibbed away toward the goal line leaving a Vulcans defender to attempt a clear attempt. The defender's attempt instead went flying into the top shelf of the net and in, however, just three seconds before the final buzzer.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies have won five straight games while giving up only two goals in those five contests. On the year, the Huskies are 7-1, including a 4-1 conference record. Nine different Huskies have scored on the year, led by
Austin Transue (Langhorne/Neshaminy) with four goals. Transue also leads the team with nine points, while
Anthony Cerda (Budd Lake, NJ/Mount Olive) is second on the team with three goals and six points. In net, reigning PSAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week
Jared Ott (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) leads the PSAC with a .923 save percentage, and is also tops with a .243 goals against average.

SCOUTING CALIFORNIAThe Vulcans comes into today's matchup with a record of 3-3, and are coming off of a 1-0 loss to West Chester in overtime last Saturday. Jesse Scheirer leads Cal with four goals and eight points on the year. Lubos Kubik leads the team with four assists and is second to Scheirer with six points. In goal, Aaron Donley and Lucas Exner have split time, and combined to make 34 saves. Exner started last game agaisnt West Chester and made 10 saves for the Vulcans.
