Sam Peters (Harrisburg/Mifflin County) scored two goals to lead the seventh-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team to a 4-0 win over Mansfield University on Saturday night.

The Huskies got on the board first when
Whitney Kowski (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional) dribbled in and drilled a shot from three yards out in the game's 18
th minute.

Peters scored the first of her goals when
Mackenzie Wirth (Thompsontown/Greenwood) fed a pass from the top of the circle, which Peters tapped in.

Peters got her second goal of the game when
Stephanie Halsted (Fairfax Station, VA/South County) assisted her in the 38
th minute of the game.

Bloomsburg's final goal came on a penalty stroke by
Tess Shelly (New Cumberland/Cedar Cliff).

For the game the Huskies held the edge in shots (31-12) and penalty corners (10-5).

The Huskies are now 6-2, 2-0 in the PSAC, while Mansfield goes to 0-8, 0-2 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg will host East Stroudsburg on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
