STORYLINE
After a three-game winning streak was stalled by East Stroudsburg on October 4, the sixth-ranked Huskies got back to their winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Seton Hill on Saturday. The win moved Bloomsburg to a 9-3 record overall and 3-1 in the PSAC conference. Kutztown saw their three-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday as they dropped a 4-1 decision against West Chester. This dropped the Golden Bears to 7-4 on the year and 2-2 in PSAC play.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg has dominated the series all-time with a winning record of 53-7-3.

LAST MEETING
The Huskies and Golden Bears met last season which saw fifth-ranked Kutztown defeat Bloomsburg by a score of 2-1 in overtime. The Golden Bears got the scoring started in the 42nd minute of play when Megan Tiwold buried a shot into the cage. The Huskies tied the match in the 66th minute off a penalty corner which saw Eleanor Kirby (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) poke the ball into the back of the net. Kutztown, however, proved to be too much in the overtime session. The Golden Bears' Anna Behm ended the contest with a goal in the fifth minute of the overtime period.

LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg took care of struggling Seton Hill by a score of 5-0. Annie Klinger (Klingerstown, Pa./Line Mountain) got the scoring started with a backhanded shot that found the cage in the 21st minute. The Huskies wasted no time getting on the scoring sheet in the second half when Ali McKay (Dover, Del./Polytech) scored only 1:36 into the half. McKay would add another goal in the 64th minute of play. MacKenna Mahan (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) and Sam Peters (Harrisburg, Pa./Mifflin County) also scored a goal each in the contest. Another highlight offensively was the play of Tali Wehner (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg), who dished out three assists on the first three goals for the Huskies. Lindsay Cassel (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) made one save in the win.

Kutztown last dropped a 4-1 match against rival West Chester. The Golden Bears took an early lead when Kyra Wozniak stole the ball from a West Chester defender and ran the ball in on a breakaway, beating the goalkeeper to secure the 1-0 lead.  This would be the only offensive for the Golden Bears. West Chester then scored four straight unanswered goals propelling them to a 4-1 victory. Chardonnay Hope finished with 11 saves in the losing effort for Kutztown.
