JOHNSTOWN—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team snapped its 12-game winless streak with a 3-1 win over Pitt-Johnstown (UPJ) on Saturday afternoon in Johnstown.

The home team scored first in the game just 3:44 into the game. On a goal kick, Haven Mackie crossed the ball to Colin Michalski who finished off the play by hitting the back of the net making it 1-0.

It stayed 1-0 until the 14
th minute when
Evan Novian (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) fed a long ball through that was mishandled by the keeper.
Hamilton Rodkey (Verona, Pa./Penn Hills) was there for the finish getting his first goal of the season to tie the score.

Bloomsburg took the lead in the 24
th minute when Rodkey fed a ball through to Cerda who drilled home a shot.

The score stayed 2-1 until the 84
th minute when the Huskies got an insurance goal. On a throw by Seth Walker, the ball was deflected by Cerda to freshman
Mike Bazadona (Courtdale, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) who headed the ball in for a 3-1 lead.

Rodkey and Cerda both finished with a goal and an assist in the game, while Jacob Pesarick got the win in goal making four saves in the contest.

Bloomsburg is now 2-10-2, 1-5-2 in the PSAC, while Pitt-Johnstown goes to 4-9-0, 1-7-0 in the PSAC. The Huskies host East Stroudsburg on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
