BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to East Stroudsburg University, 2-0, on Wednesday night in PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) play.

The Warriors scored two early goals and then played ball control the rest of the way to post the shutout victory.

East Stroudsburg took the lead in the eighth minute when Oscar Kristensson hit a long pass up the field that was controlled by Christian Bukowski, who did a spin move at the top of the box, and then pushed a soft shot to the right corner of the goal for the score.

The Warriors came right back and scored in the tenth minute of action. On a side throw-in Andrew McGinley delivered a ball to the center of the box where Marcus Torgersson went up and headed the ball in for the score.

Bloomsburg had two back-to-back shots by
Hamilton Rodkey (Verona, Pa./Penn Hills) in the 18
th minute of play. Rodkey's first shot was saved by East Stroudsburg goalie Will Boerema, while his shot off the rebound of the first shot was blocked.

The Huskies had one other shot on goal for the game with
Seth Walter (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright)'s shot saved by Boerema in the second half.

For the game East Stroudsburg held a 10-8 edge in total shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

Bloomsburg goes to 2-11-2, 1-6-2 in the PSAC, while East Stroudsburg is 7-6-1, 5-4-1 in the PSAC. The Huskies play at West Chester on Saturday at noon.
