STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team, seeded seventh in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament, travels to Kutztown University to take on the number-two seed Golden Bears in a PSAC Quarterfinal matchup. The Huskies got into the playoffs by virtue of winning their last four games, including a 2-1 victory over Clarion on the final night of the regular season. The Golden Bears are ranked 14th in the country and have won their last seven contests.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Kutztown leads the all-time series against Bloomsburg, 19-14-2, which includes a 1-0 victory over the Huskies on October 11.

LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg clinched the seventh seed in the PSAC playoffs in the final game of the regular season on Saturday night with a 2-1 victory at Clarion. Freshman Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century) got the Huskies on the board with her third goal of the season just 12:47 into the match. The Golden Eagles tied the contest at 1-1 in the 32nd minute before senior Allie Camp (Beavertown, Pa./Midd-West) proved to be the hero when she scored her second goal of the season with 8:35 left in regulation to send the Huskies to the postseason. Sophomore Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) made one save for the victory.

The Golden Bears won their seventh consecutive game on Saturday with a 4-0 victory at Slippery Rock. Kutztown had four different goal scorers - Alaina Curry, Maddie Mohr, Alyssa Ryan, and Emily Zwiercan - while Mohr and Zwiercan also added assists for three-point games. Jenna Bracken stopped four shots for the shutout victory.

LAST MEETING
The teams met back on October 11 with the Golden Bears escaping with a 1-0 victory over the Huskies at Steph Pettit Stadium. Cara Griffith scored, what proved to be, the only goal of the match when she beat sophomore Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) in the 36th minute. Kutztown held a 15-9 shot advantage as Haviland racked up a season-high, and career-high tying, eight saves in the loss. Jenna Bracken needed only two saves to secure the shutout win.
