EAST STROUDSBURG—The sixth-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team fell to fourth-ranked East Stroudsburg on Tuesday by a score of 2-0. The Warriors avenged an earlier 3-0 loss to the Huskies.
 
The Warriors scored in the 14
th minute when Paige Harrold scored off a Sydney McCarthy assist to take a 1-0 lead. East Stroudsburg extended the lead to 2-0 when Emily Howell scored at the 25:18 mark.
 
The Warriors held a 20-8 edge in shots and 13-6 edge in penalty corners for the game.
 
Bloomsburg still leads the all-time series against East Stroudsburg, 47-10-0. The Warriors though have won five of the last seven meetings between the two schools.
 
Bloomsburg goes to 8-3, 2-1 in the PSAC, while East Stroudsburg is now 9-3, 3-1 in the PSAC. The Huskies host Seton Hill on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
