BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to Notre Dame College of Ohio, 4-0, on Saturday at Steph Pettit Stadium in a non-conference matchup.

The first half was a scoreless duel with the Falcons holding a 5-3 edge in shots, while the teams were even in corner kicks with two apiece.

In the second half Notre Dame broke through with Leonardo Paiva scoring unassisted in the 53
rd minute as he dribbled down the left side and drilled the ball into the top right corner of the goal.

The visitors made it 2-0 in the 60
th minute when David Torralba brought the ball to the end line and passed across to a cutting Guilherme Gloria who headed the ball into the goal for a 2-0 edge.

Paiva closed out the game with two more goals giving him a hat trick. His first goal was unassisted when he dribbled in from the top of the circle and hit a solid shot. His third goal came when he received a crossing pass from Arthur Favero and delivered a hard shot.

For the game Notre Dame College held a 16-7 edge in shots and an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

Bloomsburg, 1-9-2, hosts Holy Family on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Notre Dame College goes to 6-4 with the win.
