The Griffins, members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), improved to 3-0 on the young season.
It was Bloomsburg's first loss to the Griffins in seven career matchups.

The Huskies led by seven, 39-32, with just over eight minutes left in regulation after freshman

Casey Warley (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin), freshman
Taylor Montana (Berwick, Pa./Berwick), and Corridoni the rest of the way.
The first quarter was an indication of things to come as the score was deadlocked at 8-8 after the opening ten minutes. The teams combined for 37 shot attempts with the Huskies making 4-of-21 (19.0%) from the floor while the Griffins were just 3-of-16 (18.8%). It was a slow start to the third quarter as the teams combined for only nine points in the first 5:19 before the Huskies went on a 9-2 run to close the third period with their largest lead of the game, 37-30. Sophomore
Marissa Molnar (Erie, Pa./McDowell) snapped a 28-28 tie with a three-pointer that sparked the run. Montana had two baskets, sandwiched around a layup from sophomore
Alyssa Mack (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic), to provide the rest of the scoring during the spurt.
Chestnut Hill was limited to just seven points in the third quarter on 3-of-17 from the field.
The Griffins' Mary Trossi cut Bloomsburg's lead to five at the outset of the fourth quarter before Corridoni's free throws gave the Huskies their seven-point advantage back with 8:24 left. Chestnut Hill began to chip away as Brittany McDonough hit the team's first triple of the game to cut the lead to four, 39-35, with 7:17 left in regulation. After Jaeda Wildgoose converted two free throws to cut the lead to two, Warley converted a layup to stop the bleeding momentarily and to give the Huskies a 41-37 lead with 5:51 remaining.

Montana, who finished with a career-high 12 points, tied the game at 43-43 on a basket with 1:52 left. Trossi tied the game at 45-45 with 51 seconds left and then, after three offensive rebounds by the Griffins, Wildgoose gave the visitors the lead for good on a put-back with 12 seconds remaining.
