BLOOMSBURG--Bloomsburg University head football coach Paul Darragh has announced his 2016 football recruiting class. The Huskies will welcome 29 new players to the program for the coming year.

"I am very pleased with our 2016 class of recruits," said head coach Paul Darragh. "We were able to address some our needs we have going forward. Overall it is a solid group of athletes who have the potential to do great things for our program as continue the build upon the winning tradition of Huskies football."

Bloomsburg's tradition of winning dates back ot the mid 1990's, but since the 2000 the Huskies are number five in all of NCAA Division II in total wins with a mark of 149-39. The Huskies have also won seven or more games for 17 consecutive years.

Bloomsburg opens its 2016 season on Sept. 3 at Stonehill.
