LAST TIME OUT ...
For the second time this season, Bloomsburg struggled against the PSAC's best defense, Millersville, and dropped a 64-48 decision to the Marauders at the Nelson Field House on Wednesday. Bloomsburg, the PSAC leader in field goal percentage, shot just 34.5% from the field (19-of-55) and made only 3-of-19 (15.8%) from behind the arc. The Huskies trailed only 24-21 at halftime but were outscored in the second half by a 40-27 margin, including a 23-15 count in the third quarter. Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) was the only Husky to reach double figures in scoring as she finished with 12 points. Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) and Julia Gantz (Havertown/Archbishop John Carroll) chipped in with nine points apiece while Alyssa Mack (Walnutport/Allentown Central Catholic) had seven points off the bench. Mack had seven of Bloomsburg's nine bench points on Wednesday (Casey Warley (West Chester/Bayard Rustin), 2). Bloomsburg turned the ball over only 15 times but was outrebounded, 46-29, which included 15 offensive rebounds for the Marauders. Shelby Reimer led Millersville with a game-high 20 points, including two quick three-pointers to start the third quarter, while Aunjel Van Brakle chipped in with 10.

THE CHEYNEY SERIES ...
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Cheyney, 48-14, and has won the last eleven meetings between the two schools. Cheyney's last victory over the Huskies came on February 6, 2010 - a 71-61 win at the Nelson Field House. During Bloomsburg's 11-game winning streak against the Wolves, the Huskies are averaging 83.1 points per game on offense while Cheyney is averaging only 50.0 points per contest.

LAST MEETING AGAINST CHEYNEY ...
Redshirt senior Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) scored a then-season-high 27 points, including her 1,000th career point late in the third quarter, to lift the Huskies to an 88-68 victory at Cheyney on Janaury 20. Sadowski hit a layup with 27 seconds left in the third to become the 21st player in school history to reach the milestone. Bloomsburg led 44-27 at halftime and shot 54.2% from the field (32-of-59) for the game. The Huskies also held a 38-27 edge in the rebounding department. Joining Sadowski in double figures were junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) (12), freshman Alyssa Mack (Walnutport/Allentown Central Catholic) (12), and freshman Marissa Molnar (Erie/McDowell High School) (11). It was Molnar's first collegiate double-digit scoring effort. Junior Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) was held to single digits in scoring for the first time all season (eight points) but did record a game-high 14 rebounds in the win.

SCOUTING CHEYNEY ...
Cheyney enters Saturday's matchup with a 4-20 overall record and a 2-18 mark in the PSAC Eastern Division. The Wolves had put together a two-game winning streak with home victories over Shippensburg (64-62) on February 13 and Kutztown (78-62) on February 16 before dropping a 57-47 decision at West Chester on Wednesday, February 17. Cheyney is just 1-11 on the road this season and is last in the PSAC in scoring offense (55.6 points per game). Defensively, the Wolves are 13th in the conference, just behind Bloomsburg, allowing 69.0 points per game. Cheyney is also last in the PSAC in shooting percentage (34.7%) and rebounding margin (-7.7). Kyra Hines-Allen leads the Wolves in scoring (14.5 per game), rebounding (6.3 per game), and field goal percentage (45.1%). She scored 16 points in the loss to Bloomsburg on January 20. In fact, Hines-Allen is the only player shooting better than 40.0% from the floor this season. Amber Genwright is next, averaging 10.0 points per contest, while leading the team in assists with 55. TaKayla Ellis (9.7 ppg) and Aerie DeJesus (9.1 ppg) are also significant contributors for the Wolves. Genwright, Ellis, and DeJesus have combined to make 82 of the team's 99 three-pointers this season. Marlon Herring leads the team with 23 blocked shots and is second on the team in rebounding (6.0 per game).

DOUBLE DIGITS AGAIN ...
The victory over Lock Haven on January 16 was Bloomsburg's tenth win of the season - the eighth straight season that the Huskies have won at least ten games. The last time Bloomsburg did not win ten games was in 2007-08 when it went 8-19 under head coach Tammy Millsaps. Current head coach Bill Cleary took over in 2008-09 and has won at least ten games every season. The Huskies need one victory to clinch a winning season for the seventh consecutive season.

LEAVING A MARK ON THE PROGRAM ...
Redshirt senior Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) became the 21st player (5th under head coach Bill Cleary) in program history to record 1,000 career points when she hit a bucket with 27 seconds left in the third quarter at Cheyney on January 20. She finished the game with 27 points, giving her 1,002 for her career. She had an even-better performance against Shippensburg, posting a school-record 43 points on 18-of-23 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line. Sadowski now has 1,123 points to move into 17th place on the school's all-time list. She needs 13 points to surpass Kim Stamm (1992-96) for 16th place. Meanwhile, with her eight rebounds on Wednesday, January 27, against Shippensburg, she became the 14th player in school history to have 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. In the process, Sadowski also became one of only two players in school history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 150 blocks. Colleen Kegerreis (2005-09) finished her career with 1,313 points, 859 rebounds, and 194 blocks. Sadowski, meanwhile, has 1,123 points, 552 rebounds, and 169 blocks (third on the school's all-time list). Sadowski will be honored prior to Saturday's tip-off against Cheyney as it is the final regular season home game for the Huskies.

MORE ON THE RECORD ...
Sadowski's 43 points broke the previous school record of 39 which was set by Bloomsburg Hall-of-Famer, Theresa Lorenzi, who accomplished the feat on February 13, 1988 in a 115-102 Husky victory at Cheyney. The 43 points tied for the 11th highest single game total in PSAC history and were just five shy of tying the PSAC record of 48 points set by Millersville's Terri Gunder during the 1970-71 season. The 18 field goals were also a program record, eclipsing the previous record of 17 set by Lorenzi on two different occasions (December 10, 1986 and January 31, 1987).

NCAA WATCH ...
Sadowski's 61.6% shooting percentage is not only tops in the conference, but it ranks fourth in the country entering action this week. Sadowski has made 146 of her 237 field goal attempts this season and trails only West Liberty's Kierra Simpson (65.9%; 145-of-220), Lewis' Jessica Kelliher (63.7%; 184-of-289), and Alaska-Anchorage's Megan Mullings (62.2%; 178-of-286). Sadowski is one of only seven players in the country to be shooting at least 60% from the field this season.

FOURTH QUARTER ISSUES ...
Bloomsburg has had issues, especially recently, in putting teams away when leading after three quarters. The Huskies have blown four fourth quarter leads this season (9-4), three in their last five losses, and nearly blew a fifth when Kutztown outscored the Huskies, 34-13, in the final period on January 9. Bloomsburg won the game, 76-70, thanks to a 63-36 lead after three quarters. Most recently, Lock Haven came back from nine points down with 5:46 left in regulation to stun the Huskies in overtime on Saturday, February 13, 66-62. This season, the Huskies have been outscored by 61 points in the fourth quarter (442-381) but have outscored their opponents by 74 points in the other three quarters combined.

CAREER NIGHT FOR KLUNK ...
Junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) had, arguably, the best game of her collegiate career in helping the Huskies post a 61-60 victory over Kutztown on Wednesday. She tied a career-high with 21 points and established a new career-high with 13 rebounds in the victory. She also added five assists and turned the ball over just once while playing all 40 minutes. Klunk had 11 points in the first quarter as Bloomsburg built a seven-point lead after the opening ten minutes. She had another strong game on Saturday at Lock Haven, scoring 15 points on 5-of-7 from the field and 5-of-6 from the line. Klunk has put together three consecutive double-digits scoring efforts and has reached at least ten points in five of the last six and seven of the last nine contests. She ranks third on the team with 16 double-digit scoring efforts this season and was the only Husky in Wednesday's 64-48 loss to Millersville to reach double figures (12 points).

COMING OUT PARTY ...
After scoring 25 total points (1.1 per game) and pulling down 33 total rebounds (1.4) over her first two seasons combined, Ross is taking advantage of a significant increase in playing time this season. She is fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 10.1 points per game, third in rebounding at 5.3 boards per contest, third in assists per game (2.7), and third in blocks per game (0.8). She has three double-doubles this season with her latest coming against West Chester on February 3 (12 points, 10 rebounds). Her second came against Lock Haven on January 16 (11 points, 10 rebounds) while her first double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) came in a loss to Gannon on December 5. In the win over Kutztown on January 9, Ross poured in a career-high 22 points, marking the first time in her collegiate career that she had eclipsed 20 points in a game. Her previous high was 18 against the University of the Sciences on November 29.

DOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE ...
The loss against West Chester on February 3, marked the third time this season that multiple players recorded a double-double. Sadowski (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Ross (12 points, 10 rebounds) turned the trick against the Golden Rams. Hopkins (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Ross (11 points, 10 rebounds) achieved the feat against Lock Haven on January 16 while three Huskies posted double-doubles - Hopkins, Klunk, and Sadowski - against Mercyhurst on December 4. Meanwhile, the Huskies have also had three games where five players reached double figures in scoring. The latest occurrence came on January 16 when the Huskies defeated Lock Haven. Kristie Costantino (Norristown/Archbishop John Carroll) led the way with 16 while Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) (15), Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) (12), Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) (11), and Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) (10) also hit the mark. The Huskies also accomplished the feat against Gannon on December 5 and at Goldey-Beacom on November 17.

NICE STRETCH FOR ROSS ...
Junior Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) has put together a string of seven consecutive games where she has done a little of everything for the Huskies. In her last seven contests, Ross is averaging 10.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. During the stretch, she has had four double-digit scoring efforts, five games of at least six rebounds, and four games of at least four assists.

SHARP SHOOTERS ...
Bloomsburg enters Saturday's contest ranked first in the PSAC in shooting percentage (44.1%) and second in the league in free throw percentage (73.2%). The Huskies have two of the top three shooters from the field in the conference - Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) (1st - 61.6%) and Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) (3rd - 51.9%) while Hopkins also ranks 11th in the league in free throw shooting (80.0%). The Huskies have shot better than 50% from the field seven times this season and are 5-2 in those games.

GANTZ KEEP HER DOWN ...
Freshman Julia Gantz (Havertown/Archbishop John Carroll) had a strong game in the loss at Mansfield on February 6, posting 15 points on 6-of-11 from the field and 3-of-6 from long range. It was her third double-digit scoring effort of the season, but her first since scoring a career-high 18 points at West Chester on December 16. In the 11 games in between, Gantz had averaged only 4.5 points on 19-of-63 shooting (.302). She is second on the team in points by a rookie, averaging 5.8 points per game this season (Alyssa Mack (Walnutport/Allentown Central Catholic), 6.6). She ranks third on the team with 21 three-pointers but first in shooting percentage from long range (32.8%).

SADOWSKI NAMED PSAC EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK ...
Despite two Bloomsburg losses, redshirt senior Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) was named the PSAC East Player of the Week on Monday, February 8, after averaging 18.0 points and 9.5 rebounds for the week. During Wednesday's 78-65 home loss to West Chester, Sadowski recorded her third double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds while adding two assists and two steals. She followed that performance with her fourth 20-point outing of the season in Saturday's 66-61 loss at Mansfield, leading the Huskies with 20 points and eight rebounds.

REBOUNDING WOES ...
Bloomsburg has now been outrebounded by an average of 5.6 boards per game - 17th out of 18 teams in the PSAC. The Huskies average 35.6 rebounds per game - also 17th in the conference. Over the last 19 games, the Huskies have been outrebounded on 15 occasions and by a total of 155 boards - an average of 8.2 rebounds per contest. In eight of the 15 games, Bloomsburg has been outrebounded by at least ten. Meanwhile, over the first five games of the season, Bloomsburg was not outrebounded and averaged 4.0 more rebounds per game than its opponent.

SECOND CHANCES ...
The Huskies have allowed 399 offensive rebounds (16.6 per game) to their opponents during the season, which have led to 297 points (12.4 per game) second-chance points. In comparison, the Huskies have only 239 offensive boards (10.0) which have led to 214 second-chance points (8.9 ppg). Bloomsburg has allowed double-digit offensive rebounds in 23 of the 24 games and has allowed 20 or more offensive boards seven times this season.

DID YOU KNOW ...
Bloomsburg's loss at Edinboro on Wednesday, January 6, was the first loss by a Huskies' team in the month of January since a 65-59 loss to West Chester on January 26, 2013. Since that loss, Bloomsburg had rattled off 21 straight victories in January. The Huskies lost three times in January - the most since losing four times during the 2010-11 season.

FIRST TIME IN A WHILE ...
Junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) registered a career-high 10 assists in the victory over Shippensburg on January 27. It marked the first time a Bloomsburg player had 10 or more assists in a game since Dana Wieller had 11 helpers in an 86-65 win over Philadelphia on December 30, 2012. Prior to that, junior Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) scored 13 points and pulled down a season-high 16 rebounds in the win over the University of the Sciences on November 29. The 16 rebounds marked the first time that a Bloomsburg player had at least 15 boards in a game since Colleen Kegerreis pulled down 15 in a 71-70 loss against Cheyney on Janaury 14, 2009. Hopkins recorded another 16-rebound effort against Mercyhurst on December 4.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE ...
Bloomsburg will travel to Shippensburg on Wednesday, February 24, for the final regular season game. The contest will have major implications on playoff seeding entering the PSAC Tournament next weekend. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. The Huskies defeated the Raiders, 88-62, at the Nelson Field House on January 27.
