LAST TIME OUT ...
Bloomsburg struggled through a tough shooting night and suffered a 60-42 loss at Shippensburg to close out the regular season on Wednesday night. The Huskies shot just 28.0% from the field and made only 3-of-18 three-point attempts in the setback. Bloomsburg trailed by only four at the break but managed to score just 18 second-half points as the Raiders pulled away. Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) led the Huskies with 11 points while Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) had ten points and a team-high nine rebounds. Klunk added five boards and had four of Bloomsburg's nine assists. Bloomsburg was outrebounded, 41-26, and turned the ball over 17 times which led to 22 Shippensburg points. Lauren Gold had 20 to lead the Raiders while Morgan Griffith had 12 points and 16 rebounds.

THE EAST STROUDSBURG SERIES ...
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against East Stroudsburg, 52-21, but had its 14-game winning streak against the Warriors snapped in the last meeting between the two schools - a 71-66 East Stroudsburg victory on January 30. Prior to that loss, the Huskies hadn't lost to the Warriors since February 11, 2009, when East Stroudsburg defeated Bloomsburg, 70-58, at the Nelson Field House. The teams have met only once in the postseason with Bloomsburg posting a 76-51 home victory in the PSAC Quarterfinals on March 4, 2014.

THIS SEASON AGAINST THE WARRIORS ...
The Huskies and the Warriors split the season series with each team winning on its home floor. Bloomsburg posted a 73-52 victory at the Nelson Field House on December 1 before East Stroudsburg returned the favor with a 71-66 victory at the Koehler Fieldhouse on January 30.

12/1 - The Huskies got off to a sluggish start and trailed East Stroudsburg, 30-27, at halftime. Bloomsburg owned the second half, however, outscoring the Warriors by a 46-22 margin to earn a 73-52 victory. Bloomsburg shot just 25.8% from the floor in the first half before shooting 55.2% in the second twenty minutes. Junior Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) posted her sixth double-double in six games, scoring 24 points and adding 11 rebounds. She also had six assists, four steals, and one block in the victory. Junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) reached double-figures for the sixth time in six games, scoring 15 points, while junior Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) scored 13 points and recorded a career-high five assists. BLOOMSBURG (PTS-REB-AST): Ross (13-5-5), Sadowski (6-6-1), Mack (9-3-2), Hopkins (24-11-6), Klunk (15-4-0), Warley (0-0-0), Gantz (6-3-1), Sneidman (0-0-0), Molnar (0-0-0), Hilsinger (0-0-0)

1/30 - Bloomsburg led by five after three quarters at East Stroudsburg but could not hang on as the Warriors outscored the Huskies, 23-13, in the fourth quarter to knock off Bloomsburg, 71-66. Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) posted her tenth double-double of the season, leading the team with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) (15) and Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) (14) also scored in double figures for the Huskies. Bloomsburg turned the ball over 24 times and was outrebounded, 46-37, which led to 17 points off turnovers and 15 second chance points for the Warriors. The Huskies struggled from the floor, shooting just 39.3%, but had a decent afternoon from long distance (38.5%) and at the line (77.3%). Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights), who had a school-record 43 points in the prior game against Shippensburg, was plagued by foul trouble and scored only three points. BLOOMSBURG (PTS-REB-AST): Sadowski (3-6-3), Gantz (3-1-0), Ross (15-4-1), Klunk (14-2-2), Costantino (2-5-3), Mack (8-4-0), Warley (0-0-0), Molnar (0-0-0), Hopkins (21-11-2)

SCOUTING EAST STROUDSBURG ...
East Stroudsburg started the season with seven losses in its first eight games but rebounded to post a 13-5 record over its last 18 games to finish the regular season with a 14-12 overall mark and a 12-10 record in the PSAC East. The Warriors have won three straight entering the playoffs, including a 64-57 win at Millersville on Wednesday night to clinch the fourth seed. East Stroudsburg is ninth in the PSAC in scoring offense (67.7 ppg) and is 11th in the league in scoring defense (66.1 ppg). Allison Howard leads ESU in both scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.8 rpg) while posting eight double-doubles. She ranks 11th in the PSAC in both scoring and rebounding. Imani Brown has emerged as the second-leading scorer (11.5 ppg) while coming off the bench in her last 23 games. She has reached double figures in scoring in 14 of those 23 games. Tyeca Reviere, in her second season as a starter, is averaging career-highs of 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. She ranks eighth in the PSAC in assists and fourth in steals (2.0 per game). Rebecca Rutkowski averages 7.3 points per game and currently leads the PSAC in blocks per game (2.3). She is also the team's leader in field goal percentage (45.1%). The Warriors are just 15th in the conference in shooting percentage (38.0%). East Stroudsburg is 14th in the league in rebounding margin (-1.6) and it averages 15.8 turnovers per game. However, the Warriors are seventh in the league in turnover margin (+1.46).

DOUBLE DIGITS AGAIN ...
The victory over Lock Haven on January 16 was Bloomsburg's tenth win of the season - the eighth straight season that the Huskies have won at least ten games. The last time Bloomsburg didn't win ten games was in 2007-08 when it went 8-19 under head coach Tammy Millsaps. Current head coach Bill Cleary took over in 2008-09 and has won at least ten games every season. The Huskies need one victory to clinch a winning season for the seventh consecutive season.

LEAVING A MARK ON THE PROGRAM ...
Redshirt senior Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) became the 21st player (5th under head coach Bill Cleary) in program history to record 1,000 career points when she hit a bucket with 27 seconds left in the third quarter at Cheyney on January 20. She finished the game with 27 points, giving her 1,002 for her career. She had an even-better performance against Shippensburg, posting a school-record 43 points on 18-of-23 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line. Sadowski now has 1,158 points and has moved into 15th place on the school's all-time list. She needs nine points to pass Jen Bryan (1999-03) for 14th. Meanwhile, with her eight rebounds on January 27, against Shippensburg, she became the 14th player in school history to have 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. In the process, Sadowski also became one of only two players in school history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 150 blocks. Colleen Kegerreis (2005-09) finished her career with 1,313 points, 859 rebounds, and 194 blocks. Sadowski, meanwhile, has 1,158 points, 577 rebounds, and 178 blocks (third on the school's all-time list).

MORE ON THE RECORD ...
Sadowski's 43 points broke the previous school record of 39 which was set by Bloomsburg Hall-of-Famer, Theresa Lorenzi, who accomplished the feat on February 13, 1988 in a 115-102 Husky victory at Cheyney. The 43 points tied for the 11th highest single game total in PSAC history and were just five shy of tying the PSAC record of 48 points set by Millersville's Terri Gunder during the 1970-71 season. The 18 field goals were also a program record, eclipsing the previous record of 17 set by Lorenzi on two different occasions (December 10, 1986 and January 31, 1987).

NCAA WATCH ...
Sadowski's 60.8% shooting percentage is not only tops in the conference, but it ranks fourth in the country. Sadowski has made 160 of her 263 field goal attempts this season and trails only West Liberty's Kierra Simpson (66.1%; 156-of-236), Lewis' Jessica Kelliher (63.4%; 201-of-317), and Alaska-Anchorage's Megan Mullings (63.1%; 193-of-306). Sadowski is one of only six players in the country to be shooting at least 60% from the field this season.

CAREER NIGHT FOR KLUNK ...
Junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) had, arguably, the best game of her collegiate career in helping the Huskies post a 61-60 victory over Kutztown on Wednesday, February 10. She tied a career-high with 21 points and established a new career-high with 13 rebounds in the victory. She also added five assists and turned the ball over just once while playing all 40 minutes. Klunk had 11 points in the first quarter as Bloomsburg built a seven-point lead after the opening ten minutes. She had another strong game on Saturday, February 13, at Lock Haven, scoring 15 points on 5-of-7 from the field and 5-of-6 from the line. Klunk has reached at least ten points in six of the last eight and eight of the last eleven contests. She is tied for second on the team with 17 double-digit scoring efforts this season and was the only Husky in the 64-48 loss to Millersville on Wednesday, February 17, to reach double figures (12 points).

BIG HELPER ...
Klunk had four of the team's nine assists in Wednesday's loss at Shippensburg and is tops on the team with 91 assists this season. She has led the team in assists nine times this season, including a career-high ten in the win against Shippensburg on January 27. She has 218 assists for her career, six shy of tying Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) (2012-14) for 15th on the school's all-time list.

COMING OUT PARTY ...
After scoring 25 total points (1.1 per game) and pulling down 33 total rebounds (1.4) over her first two seasons combined, Ross is taking advantage of a significant increase in playing time this season. She is fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 9.6 points per game, third in rebounding at 5.3 boards per contest, third in assists per game (2.8), and third in blocks per game (0.8). She has three double-doubles this season with her latest coming against West Chester on February 3 (12 points, 10 rebounds). Her second came against Lock Haven on January 16 (11 points, 10 rebounds) while her first double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) occurred in a loss to Gannon on December 5. In the win over Kutztown on January 9, Ross poured in a career-high 22 points, marking the first time in her collegiate career that she had eclipsed 20 points in a game. Her previous high was 18 against the University of the Sciences on November 29.

DOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE ...
The loss against West Chester on February 3, marked the third time this season that multiple players recorded a double-double. Sadowski (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Ross (12 points, 10 rebounds) turned the trick against the Golden Rams. Hopkins (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Ross (11 points, 10 rebounds) achieved the feat against Lock Haven on January 16 while three Huskies posted double-doubles - Hopkins, Klunk, and Sadowski - against Mercyhurst on December 4. Meanwhile, the Huskies have also had three games where five players reached double figures in scoring. The latest occurrence came on January 16 when the Huskies defeated Lock Haven. Kristie Costantino (Norristown/Archbishop John Carroll) led the way with 16 while Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) (15), Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) (12), Alex Ross (Lancaster/Manheim Township) (11), and Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) (10) also hit the mark. The Huskies also accomplished the feat against Gannon on December 5 and at Goldey-Beacom on November 17.

FOURTH QUARTER ISSUES ...
Bloomsburg has had issues, especially recently, in putting teams away when leading after three quarters. The Huskies have blown five fourth quarter leads this season (9-5), four in their last seven losses, and nearly blew a sixth when Kutztown outscored the Huskies, 34-13, in the final period on January 9. Bloomsburg won the game, 76-70, thanks to a 63-36 lead after three quarters. Most recently, Cheyney came back from five points down with 8:33 left in regulation to stun the Huskies on Saturday, February 20, by a 55-53 final. This season, the Huskies have been outscored by 74 points in the fourth quarter (481-407) but have outscored their opponents by 67 points in the other three quarters combined.

SHARP SHOOTERS ...
Bloomsburg enters Saturday's contest ranked second in the PSAC in shooting percentage (43.1%) and third in the league in free throw percentage (73.4%). The Huskies have two of the top five shooters from the field in the conference - Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) (1st - 60.8%) and Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) (5th - 51.9%) while Hopkins also ranks tenth in the league in free throw shooting (80.0%). The Huskies have shot better than 50% from the field seven times this season and are 5-2 in those games. However, Bloomsburg has not shot better than 34.5% in each of the last three games and is coming off of a 28.0% night from the field (second-lowest of the season) at Shippensburg on Wednesday

REBOUNDING WOES ...
Bloomsburg has now been outrebounded by an average of 5.5 boards per game - 17th out of 18 teams in the PSAC. The Huskies average 35.5 rebounds per game - also 17th in the conference. Over the last 21 games, the Huskies have been outrebounded on 16 occasions and by a total of 162 boards - an average of 7.7 rebounds per contest. In eight of the sixteen games, Bloomsburg has been outrebounded by at least ten. Meanwhile, over the first five games of the season, Bloomsburg was not outrebounded and averaged 4.0 more rebounds per game than its opponent.

SECOND CHANCES ...
The Huskies have allowed 425 offensive rebounds (16.3 per game) to their opponents during the season, which have led to 311 points (12.0 per game) second-chance points. In comparison, the Huskies have only 259 offensive boards (10.0) which have led to 229 second-chance points (8.8 ppg). Bloomsburg has allowed double-digit offensive rebounds in 25 of the 26 games and has allowed 20 or more offensive boards seven times this season.

DID YOU KNOW ...
Bloomsburg's loss at Edinboro on Wednesday, January 6, was the first loss by a Huskies' team in the month of January since a 65-59 loss to West Chester on January 26, 2013. Since that loss, Bloomsburg had rattled off 21 straight victories in January. The Huskies lost three times in January - the most since losing four times during the 2010-11 season. Bloomsburg has lost five of its six games in February and has secured a losing month of February for the first time since the 2008-09 season. In fact, prior to this season, the Huskies were 37-2 in February games dating back to the 2010-11 campaign.

FIRST TIME IN A WHILE ...
Junior Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) registered a career-high 10 assists in the victory over Shippensburg on January 27. It marked the first time a Bloomsburg player had 10 or more assists in a game since Dana Wieller had 11 helpers in an 86-65 win over Philadelphia on December 30, 2012. Prior to that, junior Mia Hopkins (Pittston/Pittston Area) pulled down 16 rebounds in the win over the University of the Sciences on November 29. The 16 rebounds marked the first time that a Bloomsburg player had at least 15 boards in a game since Colleen Kegerreis pulled down 15 in a 71-70 loss against Cheyney on Janaury 14, 2009. Hopkins recorded another 16-rebound effort against Mercyhurst on December 4 and redshirt senior Adreana Sadowski (Fleetwood/Brandywine Heights) had a career-high 16 against Cheyney on Saturday, February 20.

UP NEXT ...
The winner of the Bloomsburg-East Stroudsburg contest will meet top-seeded West Chester on Tuesday, March 1. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
