ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Clarion, 19-0.

LAST MEETING
Bloomsburg and Clarion have not played since the Huskies posted a doubleheader sweep of the Golden Eagles on April 26, 2013. Bloomsburg won the opener 10-0 in five innings and then completed the sweep with a 10-1 six-inning win in game two. Cait Paine pitched a two-hitter in game one while Mandi Black (Huntington Mills/Northwest Area) allowed one hit and went 3-for-3 with three runs batted in during game two.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg is 17-4 overall and most recently won a pair of games at Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday by the scores of 6-0 and 11-0 in five innings. In the sweep, Huskies' pitchers allowed six total hits while Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) went 5-for-6 with five runs scored and four runs batted in. Bridget Casey (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) leads the Huskies with a .360 batting average (9-of-25) with four doubles and seven runs batted in. Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) is currently hitting .357 (25-of-70) with a team-high 25 hits and four stolen bases. She is second on the team in runs scored with 19. The Huskies are hitting .311 as a team and are limiting opponents to a .211 batting average. Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) (7-3, 1.64 ERA) and Mallory Tomaschik (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) (5-0, 2.14 ERA) are also off to great starts pitching. Tomaschik, in fact, is the reigning PSAC Central Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 with a 0.55 ERA in wins over Nyack and Millersville last week.
