GAME TWO BOXINDIANA, PA—
Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) had a day to remember throwing a no-hitter in the circle and going a combined 5-7 at the plate with two home runs and five RBI to lead the Bloomsburg University softball team to a sweep of its twinbill with IUP. The Huskies won game one 9-0 in five innings, and came back to take the nightcap, 10-4.

Parker, a junior, tossed her first collegiate no-hitter, and the Huskies first since the 2013 season, in the first game of the day. Parker walked two and had two runners reach via errors, while fanning seven. IUP came close to scoring in the third inning getting two on with two outs. A ground ball to
Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) went under her glove for an error, but
Erica Keen (Gordonville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) in center field backed up the play and threw the runner out at home preserving the shutout.

Bloomsburg scored all the runs it would need in the first inning with Parker's bat. With two outs Parker hit a solo homer for a 1-0 lead. The Huskies made it 2-0 in the second on
Bridget Casey (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge)'s solo homer.

The Huskies made it 4-0 in the third inning with the help of Parker's bat. With two outs
Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) singled and scored on Parker's second home run of the day and the ninth of the season.

Bloomsburg broke open the game in the fourth inning.
Kalynn Wheeland (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) doubled to lead off and took third on
Erica Keen (Gordonville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan)'s one out single.
Anna McElroy (Jessup, Pa./Valley View) then singled scoring Wheeland. After a pitching change,
Valerie Carcasses (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) singled with Keen coming in to score. Winkelman then doubled home McElroy with Mayhew driving in a pair with single to make it 9-0.

Parker closed out the game by retiring the Crimson Hawks in order in both the fourth and fifth innings and ended the game with a strikeout.

In game two the Crimson Hawks scored four times in the first to take the early lead. It stayed 4-0 until the top of the fourth inning when the Huskies erupted for eight runs on nine hits and taking advantage of three errors. Tomaschik had an RBI double in the inning, while Wheeland, McElroy and Parker also had RBI hits with three runs scoring on errors.

In the sixth inning the Huskies made it 10-4 with RBI hits off the bats of Parker and Tomaschik.

Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) got the win with 6.2 innings of relief. The junior scattered six hits, walked one and fanned eight.

Bloomsburg goes to 21-4, 4-0 in the PSAC Central. The Huskies host Holy Family on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
