STORYLINE
The Huskies will put a 17-game winning streak on the line when they entertain Mansfield on Friday afternoon. Bloomsburg, ranked fourth in the Atlantic Region according to the first NCAA Division II poll, has not lost since dropping a 2-0 decision in game one of a doubleheader against Millersville on March 19. The Mountaineers, meanwhile, were swept by Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday to snap a four-game winning streak. Mansfield is tied for fourth in the PSAC Central Division standings.

IUP is 19-15 overall and 6-6 in the Central - one game behind Lock Haven for second. These will mark the final regular season home games for seniors Valerie Carcasses (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) and Erica Keen (Gordonville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan).

LAST MEETINGS
Mansfield - The teams met in Mansfield on April 1 with the Huskies coming away with 5-1 and 6-1 victories over the Mountaineers. Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) and Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) combined to allow only four hits in the two games while Maggie Hall (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) went 5-for-8 with her first collegiate home run in the sweep. She also scored twice and drove in three.

IUP - The two teams met on March 26 with the Huskies sweeping a doubleheader at IUP by the scores of 9-0 (five innings) and 10-4. Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) threw her first collegiate no-hitter in game one and also went 5-for-7 with two home runs and five runs-batted-in  in the two games. Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) got the victory in game two.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg enters the doubleheader on a 17-game winning streak and brings a 31-4 overall record and a perfect 12-0 mark in the PSAC Central into the contests. The Huskies swept Clarion, 9-1 and 5-0, on the road on Wednesday in their most recent action. Bloomsburg ranks second in the conference in team batting average (.336) while leading the conference in home runs (35), and slugging percentage (.513). The Huskies also lead the conference in extra-base hits (109). Meanwhile, the pitching staff has a team earne-run-average of 1.71 - third in the conference. Bloomsburg pitchers have struck out a league-high 242 batters and are limiting opponents to a .198 batting average (second in the league). Taylor Winkleman and Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) currently lead the Huskies with identical .390 batting averages (46-of-118). Mayhew has seven home runs and 30 RBI (both second on the team) while Winkelman leads in runs scored (33) and stolen bases (6). Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) leads the PSAC in home runs (11) and is second in the league with 39 runs-batted-in. She is also 8-1 with a 1.90 ERA in the circle and has struck out 54 batters in 59 innings. She has limited opponents to a .176 batting average - best in the league. Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) is 14-3 with a PSAC-best 1.20 ERA. She has struck out a league-high 120 batters and is limiting opponents to a .179 batting average - tied for second in the PSAC. Mallory Tomaschik (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) is 9-0 with a 1.91 ERA and is also batting .345 with four home runs and 26 RBI.

SCOUTING MANSFIELD
Mansfield is 13-16 overall and 5-7 in the PSAC Central - tied for fourth in the division. The Mountaineers rank ninth in the conference in team batting average (.276) and are tenth in the league in team earned run average (3.46). Rachael Sterner is fourth in the PSAC in hitting (.435) and also leads the team in home runs (8) and runs batted in (26). She has eight of Mansfield's 20 home runs on the season. Amanda Goodwin is batting .349 with a team-high two triples. Melanie Taylor (.345) and Koryn Wickwire (.339) are also above the .300 mark on the season. Ashley Inman (16) and Sierra Storm (10) have combined to start 26 of the team's 29 games this season. Inman is 6-9 with a team-best 2.79 ERA while Storm is 5-3 with a 2.86 ERA. Inman ranks third in the PSAC with 14 complete games and has struck out 81 batters in 103 innings.

SCOUTING IUP
The Crimson Hawks enter with a 19-15 overall record and a 6-6 mark in the PSAC Central Division (not including Friday's results). IUP has lost three of its last four games including a pair of losses at Shippensburg on Wednesday (2-1, 6-5). Hannah Mercer leads the Crimson Hawks in nearly every offensive category - batting average (.403), slugging percentage (.605), on-base percentage (.432), runs (27), hits (50), doubles (8), triples (4), home runs (3), and stolen bases (16). She is second on the team with 19 runs batted in - Allison Viguers leads with 20. Amanda Parrish is the only other player hitting above .300 - she is batting .309 (21-of-68). In the circle, Brooke Darling leads the way with a 9-5 record and a 1.99 ERA. Lauren Zola is the other primary starter and is 8-7 with a 2.74 ERA. As a team, the Crimson Hawks are 11th in the PSAC in batting average (.268) and seventh in the league in earned run average (2.63).
