BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team clinched a berth in the upcoming PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championships with a 9-0 win over Cheyney University on Saturday afternoon.

The win was the 300
th victory as the women's coach at Bloomsburg University. For his career Coyne is now 300-131 in 22 years with the program.

Bloomsburg picked up 8-0 wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles with the teams of
Gabriela Bachinski (Cascavel, Panama/Colegio Estadula) and
Catherine Garrity (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) (No. 1) and
Anna Newcomer (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) and
Siena Cerra (Levittown/Neshaminy) (No.2). Cheyney defaulted at No. 3 doubles.

In singles play the Huskies picked up four wins by forfeit, one win by default and an an 8-0 win for
Katelyn McGuire (West Nanticoke/MMI Prep) at No. 5.

The Huskies, 4-6, 4-2 in the PSACÂ East, visit Bucknell on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
