STORYLINE
Bloomsburg will look to extend its 21-game winning streak against the Warriors in East Stroudsburg. With the PSAC moving to three divisions again this year the doubleheader is not a divisional matchup like it has been the past few years.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against East Stroudsburg, 85-13.

LAST MEETING
The teams last met a year ago at the PSAC Championships with the Huskies winning 10-3. Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) (Dewart/Warrior Run) pitched 4.2 innings of relief and went 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Bloomsburg in an elimination game at the 2015 PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championships at Veterans Park in Quakertown.

Trailing 2-0 Bloomsburg got one run back in the top of the fourth. Caitlin O'Connor (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls) led off with a single and moved to second on a single by Parker. Abbey Remley (Berwick/Berwick Area) then came in to pinch run for O'Connor and moved to third on a fielder's choice. Then with two out Valerie Carcasses (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) delivered a single to right field scoring Remley and making it 2-1. The Huskies took the lead in the top of the fifth scoring four runs on five hits. Parker had a big hit in the inning getting a two-run single that put Bloomsburg on top 3-2. Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) (Perkasie/Pennridge) followed with a run scoring double, then scored herself when Sarah Bertoni (Nanticoke/Greater Nanticoke Area) singled.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies go into the game with ESU on a 21-game winning streak. The mark is the longest for the team since a 22-game winning streak in the 2010 season.

Bloomsburg picked up two more honors this week when Mallory Tomashchik and Emily Mayhew (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) were named the PSAC Central Division Pitcher and Athlete of the Week respectively. Tomaschik earned the Pitcher of the Week honors for the second time this season by going 3-0 with a 0.41 earned run average in three starts last week. She tossed three complete games - two of which were shutouts - as she allowed only one run on 11 hits in 17 innings of work. She walked one batter and struck out 13.

Mayhew, who earned the Athlete of the Week honor for the second time this season, ran her hitting streak to 21 consecutive games by getting at least one hit in her six games played last week. She helped the Huskies remain unbeaten in the division by hitting .476 (10-of-21) with one home run and seven runs batted in. Her walk-off two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning of game one on Saturday afternoon allowed the Huskies to rally past the visiting Crimson Hawks of IUP, 4-3, Earlier in the game, she hit a solo home run to tie the game at 1-1. She had four games of two hits last week and had two games with at least two runs batted in. Four of her ten hits (three doubles, one home run) went for extra bases.

For the year Mayhew leads the team in batting at .402 with eight homers and 35 RBI. She also has 11 doubles and 34 runs scored. Taylor Winkelman (Springfield, Pa/Springfield) is second in hitting at .377 with a homer and 13 RBI with a team-high 37 runs scored. She is also 6-7 in stolen bases on the year. Pitcher/shortstop Taylor Parker (Dewart, Pa./Warrior Run) is third in hitting at .376 with a PSAC-best 11 homers and 42 runs batted in, second-best mark in the PSAC. Both Winkelman and Parker are tied for the PSAC lead in doubles with 13.

In the circle Sarah Bortner (Glenville, Pa./South Western) is 13-3 with a 1.20 ERA with four saves and 120 strikeouts in 104 innings of work. Bortner is fourth in the PSAC in wins, second in ERA, second in saves and fourth in strikeouts. Tomaschik is 11-0 with a 1.70 ERA, while Parker is 10-1 with a 1.92 ERA.

As a team the Huskies are second in the PSAC in batting at .332; lead in home runs with 35 and in doubles with 75; and have a PSAC-best .502 slugging percentage.
