HTML BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg women's lacrosse team fell to the Griffins of Seton Hill on Saturday, 12-8. The Huskies are now 3-7 overall on the season, 1-6 in the PSAC. Seton Hill improves to 4-7 overall, 3-4 in the PSAC.

Nikki Fisher (Warminster, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy ) started out the scoring with 22:09 left in the first half off a free position shot giving the Huskies the lead. The Griffins responded with a goal 10 seconds later to tie the game, 1-1.
Huskies junior
Kate Shea (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) then scored an unassisted goal with 19:34 remaining, regaining the lead. Seton Hill then scored four consecutive goals to take over the lead, 5-2. Then with 3:49 left in the first half, Shea scored her second goal of the game to make it 5-3 at the break.
The second half started quickly with Bloomsburg senior
Stephanie Hostrander (Painted Post, N.Y./CPP West) scoring her first career goal just 50 seconds into the half. Just over a minute later her teammate, freshman
Hannah Jaskuta (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown), scored an unassisted goal to tie the game, 5-5.
Seton Hill scored two goals within the next two minutes before Jaskuta scored with 22:24 left in the game off of an assist by Shea, making the score 8-7. The Griffins scored another goal before Bloomsburg freshman
Abby Nocito (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) won the draw control and took the ball to the net for an unassisted goal making it 9-8 in favor of the visitors. The Griffins then responded with three consecutive goals to end the scoring for the day and post the 12-8 victory.
Bloomsburg junior goalkeeper Abby Burnett had five saves on goal, while sophomore
Brittney Hegarty (Rochester, N.Y./Rush Henrietta) made one save. Shea finished with three goals and one assist, while Jaskuta had two goals and three ground balls. For Seton Hill Emily Fagan scored a game-high seven goals, including the 200th of her career.
The Huskies have a week long break before traveling to Gannon on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m.
