Millersville scored a 6-3 win over Bloomsburg at the Burt Reese Tennis Center on March 25, 2016. The Huskies earned a doubles win from the team of senior Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) and freshman Gabriela Bachinski (Cascavel, Panama/Colegio Estadula) and then got singles wins from freshmen Cassandra Wentz (Windber/Winber Area) and Siena Cerra (Levittown/Neshaminy). Last season, the teams met in the PSAC Quarterfinals with the Huskies coming away with a 5-0 victory over the Marauders.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies advanced to the PSAC Tournament for the third consecutive season by virtue of a 4-2 record in the PSAC Eastern Division. Bloomsburg, the number-three seed from the east, posted a 4-8 overall record and most recently dropped an 8-1 decision to Wilkes University on Sunday, April 24.

Bloomsburg has four players with five singles victories this season. Freshman Siena Cerra (Levittown/Neshaminy) has the best record at 5-7 while senior Meredith Endy (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin) sports a 5-8 overall record. Freshmen Gabriela Bachinski (Cascavel, Panama/Colegio Estadula) and Cassandra Wentz (Windber/Winber Area) are both 5-9 on the season. In doubles action, Cerra and junior Anna Newcomer (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) have combined to go 5-3 on the year while Bachinski and senior Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) have teamed up for a 5-6 record.

SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE
The Marauders enter the tournament as the second seed from the Eastern Division as they went 7-11 overall and 5-1 in the PSAC East. Millersville also lost the last time out, dropping a 9-0 decision at Chestnut Hill on Thursday, April 21.

Sarah Sambrick leads Millersville in singles victories this season, going 9-9 on the year. Kaylora Thompson is 8-5 on the year, ranking second in singles wins but leading the team in winning percentage. Nicole Daacke has won seven singles matches and is 7-9 on the season. In doubles, Thompson and Kimberly Theophile have combined to go 4-2 in doubles play while Daacke and Sambrick have also won four times in doubles and are 4-8 on the season.
