LOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's soccer battled for 110 minutes, but ended with a 0-0, two overtime tie with Mercyhurst on Saturday afternoon at Steph Pettit Stadium.

The opening 45 minutes saw the Lakers hold a 6-3 edge in shot attempts, but Huskies goalie
Devon Haviland (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) made three saves to keep it scoreless.

In the second half Bloomsburg had seven shots to six for Mercyhurst, but four saves from Lakers goalie Kristen Koch kept it 0-0 through 90 minutes.

In the first extra session the Huskies held a 3-0 edge in shots, but could not convert on any of the tries. In the second 10-minute session the Huskies had a 2-1 edge in shots, but again were not able to find the back of the net.

The Huskies go to 2-1-1, 2-1-1 in the PSAC, while Mercyhurst is now 2-1-1, 2-1-1 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg plays at Lock Haven on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
