8k Course Map
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's cross country team will return to action this weekend as it travels to Kutztown University for the Division II/III Challenge meet. The men's 8k race will begin at 10 am on Kutztown's North Campus Farm Course.

The Huskies, ranked eighth in the USTFCCCA Atlantic regional poll, will be competing for the first time since Sept. 2 when it beat Mansfield in the Flatlander Invitational. At that meet the Huskies swept the top six places with junior
Daniel Neiswender (Lebanon, Pa/Cedar Crest) taking top honors in 12:31 on the 4k course. Neiswender was an All-PSAC performer at the 2015 PSAC Championships.

The next five places for the Huskies were separated by five seconds with
Eric Heatwole (State College, Pa./State College),
Nick McGuire (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood), Jake Plackho,
Zach Bitner (Mount Holly Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) and
Danny Dugan (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) all running as a tight pack with times ranging from 12:42 to 12:46. Finishing seventh for the Huskies was freshman
Declan McDonald (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) in ninth place with
Tom Moser (Natalie, Pa./Mt. Carmel) 10
th and
Tim Silverthorn (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) 13
th.

Joining the Huskies will be Shippensburg, ranked sixth nationally in Division II, which will look to defend its title in the Division II/III Challenge after winning by a wide margin in 2015. Other notable Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schools competing on Saturday are Cheyney, East Stroudsburg, No. 15 Lock Haven, Slippery Rock and West Chester.
