MANSFIELD—The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team swept the top five spots on its way to a 15-47 win over Mansfield in the Flatlander Invitational on Friday in the season opening meet.

Bloomsburg, ranked second in the USTFCCCA preseason Division II Atlantic Regional poll, overall placed seven of its runners in the top 10 and had eight of the top 11.

Senior
Teresa Ortiz (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) led the way with a first place finish on the 3k (1.86 mile) course running 10:41 with junior
Hannah Boudreau (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) second in 10:49.
Jessica Quesenberry (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) was third in 10:54 with
Keelan McDonald (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) fourth in 10:55.
Marina Eberhart (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./Arlington) took fifth in 11:06.

Finishing seventh was Treicy Cedano in 11:24, while
Alana Jacaruso (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) was ninth in 11:34 and
Amber Csrenko (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) was 11
th in 11:54.

The Huskies are idle until the D-II Challenge Meet at Kutztown on Sept. 17.
